Fluctus Cutlery won the If Design Award 2024
Jumbo, the architect of the most elegant tables with its timeless designs, has achieved another success that has made a name for itself in the design world. Jumbo once again proved its success in the international arena by winning award at the İF Design Award 2024 with its creative vision and superior design approach. Jumbo's Fluctus Cutlery Set, inspired by the waves, returned with award from the IF Design Awards 2024.

Fluctus, which makes a difference with its wavy shape and assertive design, takes its name from the Latin word "wave". Fluctus Cutlery Set, whose surface has smooth curved waves, is an attractive reflection of light and shadow. The indentations on it support the fingers and improve grip while holding the cutlery. Thanks to its thin structure, it provides lightness in all parts. In this way, it promises comfort that never tires the hand during use. Created with a high level of craftsmanship, the set offers an emotional experience beyond ordinary cutlery.

Orbit tableware won the If Design Award 2024
True to its name, the components of the Orbit breakfast service set display a lively design, inspired by an elliptical orbit. The sleek conception combines plates, milk jugs, sugar bowls, dishes, salt and pepper shakers, as well as cups, based on this idea to create a harmonious image. The line management is not only aesthetic, but also functional, as shown for example by the easy-to-grip cup handles.

Can we get information about the table trends of 2024?
We can see the reinterpretation of classical approaches in 2024 table trends, I think especially the neo-classical style will be preferred. In addition, products using mystical figures, natural materials, marble and wood will be popular. White minimal porcelains and 'cool matcha' and 'apricat crush' colors can be combined with natural materials.
What are your priorities in your designs? Are aesthetic concerns or functionality in the foreground?
In fact, it is not possible to separate these two deep-rooted concepts. Functionality will become more prominent in 2024, because trends and consumer needs direct us to make life easier. Aesthetic perception is personal, for me aesthetics is the charisma of a product. If, when I see a product, I want to have it without examining its features, that product is aesthetic. In fact, a design can be made with only aesthetic concerns, and it can also be designed with only functional concerns.
What do you think is a must for a table? Definitely cutlery... Porcelain dinnerware sets are very eye-catching.

Won 3 Awards from IF Design Award 2023
Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin hosted the event to honor and celebrate design achievements. On one of the world's largest theater stages, the most outstanding products and projects were honored with the IF DESIGN AWARD 2023 awards. We have been receiving many awards for our product designs for years. We received our third iF Design Award in 2022 with the Plato dinner set. We won our first iF Design Award in 2017 with the Everest cutlery set, and our second award with the Cubique breakfast set in 2019. I used to dream of this award when I was studying at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
Karaca Design Team, which continues its work, designs products for new and current trends that are aesthetic, creative, provide technical advantages, are functional, ergonomic and have added value, for the needs of all Karaca customers and consumers. The brand's Streamline design approach reflects its corporate identity, which was formed with the interest and feedback of all Karaca lovers to the products.
